Emergency Preparedness for Individuals & Families
We do not need to live in fear and we may never have to face a fire, natural disaster or find ourselves in an emergency situation. But it is possible, and depending on the emergency or disaster, you may need to shelter at home or possibly leave your home and your comfortable surrounding to seek safe shelter. It is important that we always be prepared for any type of adverse situation while at home, at work or even while away from our home. Each household should have on hand a 7-14 day supply of water and food, along with a well stocked first aid kit, battery operated radio, flashlights and other emergency supplies.
